We always recommend you do skin patch and strand tests before using Directions to be on the safe side. Your strand test is key to determine your development time for full application.

Doing a Stand Test:
1) Wash a section of your hair - preferably a hidden section
2) Coat the hair in a teaspoon size amount of colour. Development usually takes 15-30 mins - use a timer and check your hair at intervals nothing the time that desired development is achieved.
3) Rinse and dry your hair

Colouring your hair:
1) Wash your hair
2) Apply your chosen colour. Use a tint brush if you have one, and comb the colour into your hair until it becomes frothy.
3) Let your colour develop. Your stand test results will determine your personal development time, but Directions advise to leave the product in for 15-30 minutes on average.
4) Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Ensure you rinse away from the face and body.
5) Dry and style your hair as normal


Warnings:
- Do not mix Directions with peroxide
- Do not use on brows or lashes
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Ensure hair is completely dry before sleeping as to avoid staining bedding.
