Dr T.P. Lucas, a Brisbane botanist and medical practitioner, discovered the calming powers of papaw in the late 1800's. His famous topical ointment formula has remained unchanged for over 100 years, and is still produced by his descendants in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

Papaw is rich in papain and antioxidants, with antibacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. We hand select the finest Far North QLD papaws and ferment them in our Brisbane factory. A natural fermentation process delivers the soothing enzymes of papaw in a super potent concentration.

Lucas' Papaw Ointment contains no sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), palm oil or glycerine. It is non-allergenic and non-comedogenic.
