The ultimate beauty sleep to deeply refine your skin overnight. Brightening, smoothing and decongesting results while you sleep. True 10% encapsulated, time-release glycolic acid - powerful, keeping irritation low and skin barrier healthy, ideal to prepare for a first ever peel programme or to top up in between sessions.
Encapsulated Glycolic acid allows for slow release into the skin overnight. It is the smallest of the AHA’s and therefore penetrates deeply into the skin. It reveals fresh skin cells and promotes cellular turnover.
The effectiveness of exfoliating acid products depends heavily on two factors; acid concentration and the pH of the formula. Sleep Glycolic has a pH of 3.5 with a 10% active glycolic acid.

Can you use Sleep Glycolic with other Direct Acids?Never layer Direct Acids - simply switch out your everyday Direct Acid on the days you want to use Sleep Glycolic in your evening routine. E.g You can use Press & Glow in your AM regime, Sleep Glycolic in the PM, then Press & Glow in the following AM regime.
Can I use Sleep Glycolic alongside a wash-off acid cleanser/treatment?Sleep Glycolic can be used with acid cleansers or treatments, for example Surface Radiance Cleanse.
Would you recommend Sleep Glycolic for pregnancy or nursing Mothers?Unfortunately, as a cosmetic brand we are unable to provide specific medical advice relating to our products. We would strongly advise speaking with your GP or Midwife so that they can give you an accurate recommendation. As general guidance we would recommend you avoid the use of vitamin A when pregnant or nursing (like retinol/retinaldehyde/retinyl retin0ate) and leave on, high strength exfoliating acids (like glycolic/lactic/salicylic/mandelic/gluconolactone).
As Sleep Glycolic contains glycolic acid and is a leave-on product, we do not recommend it for use during pregnancy.
Can I use Sleep Glycolic in the morning? We do not advise to use Sleep Glycolic during the day, as glycolic acid can make skin more sensitive to sun damage. Instead, use 2-3 times a week after cleansing in the evening. Follow with other serums and moisturiser. Always use SPF the morning after.
Would you recommend Sleep Glycolic for sensitive skins?Sleep Glycolic is suitable for normal skin types - including congested skins, oily skin types, uneven textured skins and those prone to visible hyperpigmentation. This is a high concentration exfoliating acid product, and while we have minimised irritation for healthy skin types, those with inflammatory skin conditions are likely to find Sleep Glycolic to be too powerful, particularly on broken skin. It is not suitable for very sensitive skins, including inflamed acne, rosacea and eczema.
Can I use Sleep Glycolic with vitamin A?Yes, Sleep Glycolic can be used with vitamin A - you can find it in the Wrinkle Repair evening regime alongside Crystal Retinal. They can provide enhanced results when used in combination.
