Sturdy enough for thick hair
I asked the BB team for recommendations for paddle brushes suitable for thick wavy/curly hair, as my hair tends to eat brushes, especially brushes that don't have moulded bristles. This was the in stock option, and it's held up beautifully in the 20 months since I purchased it. All the bristles are still in place, and all the nubs are still intact with only a little of the paint wearing off. The hair bodkin/parting tool does rattle in the handle, but doesn't fall out and makes for an easy way to quickly pull accumulated hair out of the brush. In terms of detangling, the rubber pad is a little softer than I'm used to - so it sounds like I'm doing worse damage than I actually am but that's a very YMMV thing. Definitely need to work from bottom to top to detangle though. Overall, very pleased with this brush and I hope it lasts for several more years to come!

Great brush to tame statics
I am super happy with my new brush. I have long straight fine hair and was looking for a brush that will not only help with taming my statics but also make my hair brushing a better experience in terms of de-knotting and also hair drying. I am very happy with this brush as it is reducing statics significantly for my part and also it is very comfortable and quicker use it with the hair dryer for a brushing. I had all the wrong type of brush for a long type for my type and length of hair and now, I realise how important it is to take the time to choose the proper brush for your hair and how it makes the hair drying/brushing process smoother.

This is a great brush for blow drying. I was looking for a ceramic brush specifically for this purpose, and this was a great find!
