Press and hold the Power Button for about 2 seconds. The buzzer will beep and the display screen will light up when the Thin Lizzy UCurl is powered up.

Once the display screen lights up, you can adjust the heat and timer settings.

Heat: When the Thin Lizzy UCurl is turned on, the display screen will begin to light up, the heat setting will begin to flash, prompting you to select a heat temperature setting. Press the Power Button to select your desire heat setting. If there is no heat setting change within 4 seconds, it will default to the last used heat setting.

Timer: After adjusting the heat setting, adjust the timer by pressing the Timer Button and choose from 10, 12, 14 or 16 seconds. The Timer is the amount of time your hair will be heated for. This will determine the tightness of your curls.

1. Section your hair and take a moderate amount (around 1cm worth) of dry, brushed hair and place through the gap at the top of the device. How you place your hair in the barrel will determine where the curl begins.
2. The front of the device should be facing upwards and away from your face. For left facing curls press and hold the left arrow button, press and hold the right arrow button for right facing curls.
3. Start curling by pressing and holding either the left or right button. Keep holding until the barrel stops spinning and the timer starts beeping. You can now let go of the button. When the timer stops, there will be two short beeps to let you know the curl is ready.
4. Slowly pull the Thin Lizzy UCurl down to release your curl.
