I gave it a 4 only because my hair is too thick for this type of tangle teezer, but that was on my part. I thick theres other ones for thicker hair. Other then that it seems to work really well as I gave it to my sister who has thinner hair, and she really liked it. From what she told me it untangles her hair really well without it being painful. When I did use it, it's very delicate on the hair and theres little next to no pain when using it. I will be buying one more suitable for thicker hair. It's a great product!
