A = Anti-Ageing

Alpha-H Vitamin A Serum is a potent, antioxidant skin renewal treatment that utilises the exfoliating benefits of Vitamin A in a hydrating formula.

Designed to assist in achieving a smoother, softer complexion by supporting the natural renewal process of the skin, this powerful serum will also help to diminish the appearance of uneven skin tone, improve skin firmness, texture and tone while combating scaly or coarse surface areas.

Ideal for dry, mature and ageing skin types, this non-irritating nightly serum helps to revitalise the skin and prevent the appearance of premature ageing due to over exposure to UV rays. As such, long-term use will help promote a more youthful looking complexion.

Vitamin A is well known as the most regarded, researched and clinically proven for anti-ageing. There is a variety of different types of Vitamin A which are for the skin; collectively these are known as retinoids. Collectively retinoids are renowned for their ability to boost collagen, improve skin tone, thicken the dermal layers and even eliminate wrinkles.

However, as the body cannot produce its own Vitamin A, it must source it from food or topical applications. Despite our skin being our single largest organ, our body prioritises ingested vitamins for the internal organs, often resulting in less than 1% of vitamins ever making their way to the skin. Vitamin A is also rapidly degraded when exposed to sunlight. As such, it is essential that we apply it topically, and regularly.

Vitamin A works by normalising cellular function, meaning it has a corrective effect on all skin conditions. It also decreases the production of sebum whilst also increasing the rate of wound healing, meaning it is particularly effective for reducing acne and the scarring it can leave behind.

Tip: Layer with Multivitamin Super Cream to up your vitamin benefits. Must be used in conjunction with daily SPF

I am a first time user of retinoids and this product is good for my skin. I am very picky with face products and I am sure this has made a difference with the appearance of old acne scarring and blemishes in the U zone. I use every second night and followed up with multivitamin cream as part of my nightly face routine.
