Not for me.
I mean. I guess it exfoliates. I tend to go for much rougher exfoliators - my usual was out of stock so I thought I'd give this a shot and I kinda regret it.
- First off, actually kinda hard to get out of the tube (mine currently looks like a toothpaste tube recovered from the hands of an angry toddler, aka very squished).
- Next, the actual product is like... fine. Really fine. Barely a scrub imo. Like I said, I tend towards rougher exfoliators (think Soap & Glory sugar scrubs, Frank coffee scrubs, Lush's ocean salt) and this barely feels like anything. So I kinda hate that.
- Also, possibly something to watch out for if you have delicate skin or surfaces - if you don't actively rinse it off with your hands, it leaves a residue on your skin. Like it takes a good few swipes to get it properly off me, and does the same to my shower walls - can't just point some water at it, it needs active removal.
- Last but not least, the smell is... interesting. If you're looking for a true coffee scrub, this ain't it. It smells more like chemicals than coffee, and not fun, good smelling chemicals. Kinda sharp in the same way as isopropyl alcohol? I mean it's bearable but it's not enjoyable to me.
Overall, not for me. Maybe better for people who prefer a gentle exfoliator, but I don't think I'll buy this again unless I'm super desperate :/
